The cooker seemed quite light in its construction and Hotpoint have reduced the quality of the hob. That being said it all works and when in place is quite sturdy.
The 10 year guarantee on parts is not worth the paper it’s written on IMHO as Hotpoint want to charge £129.00 per visit, that just could be plus VAT and it would seem the main point is to try and sell you product insurance which I feel was greatly over priced.
My other negative I paid to have the old cooker taken away to save me a trip to the council tip as I have just turned 71 to my amazement the delivery people didn’t want to unpack the cooker or remove the packaging from site. I was quite assertive that they would unpack the cooker so I could check and also remove the packaging. Had they done this the rating would be five stars.
Time will tell how the cooker holds up.
Would I recommend this cooker? Yes if you needed a 500 width electric cooker
