Very good cooker elements heat up very quickly

Really impressed with this cooker, I had to purchase a new cooker due to my 12 year old one finally giving up after loosing 3 knobs and vibrating so much when on it practically took off! This oven cooks evenly and most of all quietly, the hobs heat up fast and you have a heat display that shows you which hobs are still hot even after turning them off-brilliant to avoid any accidents. The knobs are made well and I definatly feel like they are made to last. The doors to the oven are sturdy and the glass is easily removable for easy cleaning. The timer is easy to set and you have a timer for each oven (which my previous oven did not). Overall I am extremley happy with this purchase a very welcomed and needed upgrade.

Excellent product. Does the job well and looks fab in the kitchen. An excellent choice compared to some other cookers we looked at.

It suits us perfectly. It looks smart. Both ovens heat up very quickly (at least compared to our old one!) it cooks evenly. As a bonus it has handles which are easy to use even if you have difficulty manipulating things with your hands. They are quite prominent which some people may not like. The grill is quick. The only small niggle is that the grill pan is only 3/4 of the width of the oven. We just transferred the big one over from our old oven

Only had this a week.This Hotpoint cooker is a replacement for another brand cooker I had various regular problems with. Let’s start with the positives. The fan oven is far superior than a multi fan oven and cooks far better than than my old one in my opinion and does so evenly and throughout no matter what position the shelf is at . The hobs heat super quick and the large back one is excellent for larger pots. The solar grill takes a bit of getting used to as there is no noise but once heated it’s so fast .You just have to keep your eye on it until you get used to it .I now love it . Now for the negatives which are niggles but none the less important. The markings on the dials are very faint and perhaps would be better underneath the front plastic like my old cooker especially if your eyesight or lighting poor but given the comments from others saying same perhaps Hotpoint could take these consumer concerns on board for future appliances regarding this . Also the main oven door .Watch your toes!Stand back a bit when opening door as it’s so low to the ground it scraped across my foot.The other little niggle is the door catch is very stiff to open and close .I have gave this 4 stars purely due to these but I can still highly recommend this cooker if you looking to replace an old one or it’s your first buy for the price you cannot go wrong .
