Love this dishwasher! It’s very quiet, well designed giving more space than our last one. Very handy to be able to delay the wash until after we’ve gone to bed to take advantage of cheaper electricity rates. Cleans everything very well. Instructions clear. Highly recommend.

I have given this dishwasher one star for cleaning well and one star for being reasonably quiet. We had the previous model and that lasted for six years of use (with one repair). We then purchased this newer model that looked very similar but claimed to clean more place settings. It has achieved this by making all of the prongs/slots much narrower. So now it only fits skinny, flat plates that do not have any rim. Furthermore, a change in design of the top drawer means that it is very difficult to load glasses without them tipping over. We curse every time we load it and can't wait for it to fail so that we can buy a different model.

Had the same make and model dishwasher for over 8 years until it gave up on me. Had no hesitation in buying another Hotpoint Great product would recommend to anyone.

Nice unit, has enough programmes, very good job cleaning, fairly quiet. Can generally do away with the cutlery basket with the mini tray up top, then any other cutlery across the fold down flaps on the side. Really like the auto opening of the door after a wash. Only minor issue is the door does feel a little light / flimsy.

Our old Bosch dishwasher finally gave up the ghost after 15 years and we were looking for a black dishwasher to match the other appliances. The Hotpoint was the perfect match of aesthetics and function. So far, it’s been very good. The programmes have taken a little time to get used to as the symbols are not obvious but we tend to use just two anyway. The old Bosch just required one button push but this requires 3, so not so intuitive. However, the internal size seems greater and the inverter on the motor makes it a little quieter also. All in all, happy with our purchase.

Appear to have broken down after two weeks use, engineer booked to resolve, showed code F02, continuously. AO are sending someone to take a look without any quibble, so follow up service good
