Works fine & washes well but……..

    4/5
Works fine, washes clean and I like the choice of programmes. Cons are that the water jets are so powerful that lightweight items on the top rack get pushed over and end up full of water at the end of the cycle. Also slightly awkward to stack things in both racks. In top rack mugs either slide into eachother if more than one row on the one side or leave no room for saucers next to them on the other side. In bottom rack lots of places for smaller plates but large plates tricky to fit in.

    It's the little extras

Great dishwasher, just the little extra of the big cutlery holder on top shelve is great and the extra spray arm for washing pots.

Take your dishes to the cleaner .

Works like a dream, lovely clean dishes and cutlery far better than my other machine which was 1 year old. Looks good easy to use so quiet and great value for money.

    Just what we wanted

    5/5
I did quite a bit of research before settling on this model. I downloaded the user manual so I was familiar with the programmes and various options. We've only had it a couple of weeks now so haven't tried out all the programmes but so far we're happy with the performance. Strangely, one major factor was to NOT have a smart/Wifi capability. You still have to load it, add the tab, and unload it at the end so being able to start it using a smart phone and checking it's progress is of little benefit, just something to go wrong.

    Rubbish cutlery basket

    3/5
I bought this model 14 months ago. I am quite happy with the performance, it is very quiet. What I am not happy is the way I got treated by Hotpoint when I phoned to request a replacement cutlery basket. Several pieces have broken off the bottom of it meaning cutlery can fall through. I was told that as it was out of warranty (2 months). I would need to buy a new one. When I queried 10 year parts guarantee was told this only applied if engineer is called out (my expense) and a new part was needed. It is certainly not fit for purpose but to save hassle I thought I’d buy a new one. Unfortunately it looks like all on line baskets are the same flimsy construction. I will solve this problem myself and not be in a hurry to buy Hotpoint again.

Excellent dishwasher. Very simple to use. Easy to install. Lots of different programs to choose from. Dishes are left spotless. All in all a super buy!

Great dishwasher at a good price

    5/5
This is a versatile dishwasher; there are options when loading, meaning whatever I've used fits nicely into the dishwasher. The top 'drawer' has 2 height options, which might be handy for certain loads, but we tend to leave it on the highest setting so that our large dinner plates fit comfortably in the bottom. The cutlery basket is moveable, providing even more possibilities. There are several programmes, but we tend to just use a couple, plus the 'rinse' programme. Several programmes have the 'open door' ending, meaning that when finished, the door pops open to allow plastic tubs, tupperware etc, to air dry. This is a great feature, as our previous dishwashers never properly dried plastic items. The dishwasher looks good, and is quiet. It washes very well. We only once had a plate that didn't clean completely.
