I am delighted with my new AEG gas hob. I chose it because it looked the most robust, solid and practical as well as being stylish with a good layout. I wanted the largest burner at the front as my previous hob had it at the back which caused problems when using a large pan or wok as there was insufficient room to locate it centrally without hitting the wall behind. The pan supports are solid and due to the design there is no risk of small pans sliding off the supports. Also impressed by the 1-9 power level controls which provide easy heat control. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend this hob.

great hob

Pleased with the performance of our new hob - especially the wok ring, which we use to make big pan meals. We discovered that AO had not installed it properly (it wobbles as one of the under brackets has not been fitted). We’re following up with AO…! Otherwise it’s a powerful and good-looking hob that works for us as we cook A LOT. One thing I have noticed however and it’s just aesthetics but two of the gas rings have discoloured in under a month. I’ve used hob cleaner but the discolouration wont budge. Please advise what we can use to restore the silver colour.

VerySylish hotplate that blends in with mynew kitchen. Easy controls. Did not want a Flush fitting Elextric Hob so this Gas Hob is perfect. Would have given it Six Starts is the veg water stain would clean up. Left a grey smudge, nothing seems to clean it clear.

Well made, solid piece of kit works very well - top quality

Great layout and stylish arrangement too. Great for family cooking and impressive feature in a modern kitchen. Easy to use and easy to clean.

Excellent product quality hob

The hob was a direct replacement for an old Indesit hob. It fits in the same space and connects in the same area so no changes needed to the pipework. All fitted in less than an hour. The hob is really well designed and made. The pan supports are sturdy and support the pans securely but they are not dishwasher proof. Nice big burner at the front for larger pans or trays. It looks great too.
