Bought to replace an existing, very old Hotpoint because I wanted something exactly the same size and no bigger. So far I've only used one of the settings (eco). It does take ages but cleaning performance is very good and I like the way it opens the door and switches itself off once it's finished. Overall, better than the old one and thus better than expected.

Simple and easy to use, it’s early days as far as use is concerned but seems to wash well, so far so good.

I bought this dishwasher mainly because it has a fully stainless steel interior, rather than part plastic, and is a known brand. It works well enough but the design of the racks leaves much to be desired. It doesn't fit nearly as many dishes as the machine it's replacing and the racks are very restrictive, limiting what can be placed where. The cutlery basket likewise takes up more space than the old one but yet has a smaller capacity. The method of programming seems unduly complicated and some functions don't seem to work as described in the instruction booklet. The fact that the programme has to be selected every time it's used is a minor inconvenience. It's not a bad machine, just nowhere near as well designed internally as my old one of a different make - but on the other hand the old dishwasher had a several major breakdowns in its lifetime and lasted less than 7 years. Hopefully this will be more reliable and durable.
