This is my first dishwasher, and I installed it on my own! Did plumbing and installed the door. I spent so much time looking and comparing other dishwashers, this is exactly what I wanted. I used other brands before but always liked a Hotpoint. The main criteria were for me: - support the quick wash (30min) - should fit into 59cm width - good quality - easy installation - energy savings - should be enough space for plates. Cons: By installing a door, keep in mind that attaching a door will add you a couple of cm to the size. So, it's not mentioned anywhere, but this is an expected thing because nobody knows the size of your door. I'm happy and recommend it to everyone!

Quiet dishwasher, easy to set up. Works well but doesn’t dry the dishes fully.

Sturdy and robust with simple instructions. It cleans well and is very quiet. Regarding some reviews about the upper spray arm hitting larger plates, I noticed that did happen at first with my dinner plates (which are 10.5 inch / 27cm diameter) and I simply moved the upper rack up slightly (following the instructions in the manual - it was one simple shift up) which immediately solved the problem. All in all, I’m very happy with this product and the delivery / customer service was excellent.

We have bought the newer model of the dishwasher we had which broke down after 8 years. The racks are badly designed and definitely hold less items than our much older machine. Cleaning is good but very disappointed with the rack design.

I had to find a new dishwasher after my previous Indesit broke after 14 years. After much searching for a replacement which at times was quite mind boggling looking at different specifications, energy rating, reviews, competitive prices etc I decided on the Hotpoint. I definitely made the right choice and very happy with the machine. I paid for installation so no problems there. Followed the set up instructions, salt and rinse aid etc. Yes, moving from manual settings to digital is different but easy to follow guidelines. I live in an extremely hard water area and liked I can set machine to allow for this. The first wash done overnight, so in the morning door was popped open slightly and inside all was dry and gleaming. Amazing cleaning and no spots on cutlery and glasses spotless. The racks are easy to adjust, do this if you use large plates to raise the top rack. The glass holders are adjustable as well and I could at last put long stemmed wine glasses in. The cutlery basket can be moved and the lower rack laid flat for pans etc, both really useful. This machine is a vast improvement on the Indesit and I would very much recommend it for a mid-range price, as the quality of the wash is the most important factor for me.

Excellent product and delivery service. Fits in as a good replacement for my old dishwasher , very easy to install.

Seems like a good product. However the first dishwasher I’ve ever owned so I can’t compare. So far happy with the purchase.
