We never expected to find a replacement for a thirty year old hob not least because it was larger than now commonplace and fitted the existing cutout. The BEKO was precisely what was needed to avoid replacing the whole worktop thus saving hundreds of pounds. Moreover, it provides a larger than normal cooking area. It is extremely well made and it’s operability most satisfactory. .

The performance of the hob is very good, however, the contol markings are difficult to see in certain lights. The hob description is missleading in regards to the fitting, it is claimed to have built in spring clips for ease of fitting, in reality it is the same old difficult to fit clamps.
