Changing from induction hob to a gas hob makes cooking that much easier, tastier and fast. Best decision we have made. This hob looks just as nice as our induction hob did, sleek but more efficient and cheaper to run.

I have had AEG in the past and they have always performed well. This hob doesn’t disappoint and it looks awesome in my new kitchen. One useful feature is when you ignite a burner the knob is surrounded by numbers that light up and when you turn off the numbers are still there and fade as the burner cools down.

I had been wanting to replace my hob for a while, the one we had was kindly gifted to us. I loved the look as soon as I opened it, I prefer the cast iron pan stands and there seemed to be more space on this hob to my old one somehow. I was a bit concerned about it being flat as I do tend to be forgetful and let things boil over but I haven’t had an issue yet. The first time using it I was shocked how much more efficient it was to my old one, I just thought a gas hob was a gas hob but it boiled things evenly and quickly. I love the red LED display for the knobs. I haven’t worked out the timer yet. I don’t have the matching hood to know how that but works but I might consider upgrading in the future now.

My first impressions of the hob when I got it was how well packaged it was. The quality and look really finish my kitchen off.I love the wok ring, by far the most useful. This has been the easiest hob i have ever had to clean and everything removable fits in the dishwasher.I have also purchased a hood to match to use the hob 2 hood feature, again an excellent feature. I know this is not hob related, but have just recently bought a black backsplash and it complments the hob perfectly.
