My first impressions of the hob when I got it was how well packaged it was. The quality and look really finish my kitchen off. I love the wok ring, by far the most useful. This has been the easiest hob i have ever had to clean and everything removable fits in the dishwasher. I have also purchased a hood to match to use the hob 2 hood feature, again an excellent feature. I know this is not hob related, but have just recently bought a black backsplash and it compliments the hob perfectly.

I wasn’t looking for a 5 burner hob, just a big hob to accommodate my large pans without them fighting for space when in use. It looked a quality item in the photos and looked even better when fitted. It’s top quality and easy to use and clean. I’ve nicknamed it ‘the beast’. I’ve ended up using the wok burner with my flat bottomed sauté pans and it’s doing a brilliant job. Couldn’t be happier with it.

I received this brand new AEG HKB64450NB Gas Hob last week. Appliance was well packaged. Gas safe engineer connected it and I was able to use it right away. The first impression was super positive. The design is very slick, looks like premium product. Black glass and red lighting combination makes it very modern. This gas kitchen hob has several advantages over conventional hobs. The flames can be easily adjusted. Red scale from 1 to 10 lights up around its control knob, which lights up as long as the burner is hot. The scale is also used to adjust the flame intensity. Gas hob has a minute minder - which indicates the end of the set time with various acoustic signals, is also very useful. It has also an infrared trigger for a compatible AEG hood - which unfortunately I was unable to test because I don't have this hood. Good purchase for money and I would definitely recommend this gas hob to friends and family.

It easily fits four pots / pans during my daily cooking. I cook a lot and it helps me a lot. The flame adjustment is from 1 to 9, but you can reduce the flame to a minimum by turning the tap slowly towards full shutdown if you want to cook something very slowly. It has automatic gas cut-off technology in the event of accidental extinguishing (gust of wind, flooding), which is very important to me because I have a window near the gas hob.
