    Efficient and quiet!

    5/5
Love this item. It's perfect for what we need. Has drastically cut the drying time down from a previous machine we had which was a condenser tumble dryer. Significantly quieter than previous brands we've had. Had a vented tumble dryer before, and tried a condenser, now we're back to vented.

    Fab :)

The product is great. I would like an actual manual though. This also has remote that you can use from your phone, but make sure you have the dryer on the right setting first! Otherwise it keeps telling you the remote isn't working. It's really quiet, and the Rapid dry is brilliant. An actual list of the programmes would be good, I've only found them when you download the app.

    Happy with my purchase

So far so good, I was a bit concerned about all the different drying options but now I've used it a few times I'm impressed.

So service from AO = 5/5...but this product is hard hard work. Seems the only way I can get a load dry is to put it on for 2.5+hrs...most of the settings (there are a lot!) do not get the washing dry. Also the 'go' button is very temperamental and does not go on some of the settings. My old vented tumble dryer was a basic turn time dial and go and was fantastic..80 mins at most and dry everytime. If I had my time again, I would not buy this product! But can't fault AO order and delivery service.

Isn't as technically tricky as it first appears!

Overall good product. Easy to install, comes with the hose vent to attach. We stacked it on a universal stacker on top of our washing machine and it fits perfectly. The many different settings are a little confusing but once we tried a few we worked out what works best for us, so a little trial and error is needed but most importantly it does work and get things dry! It is hard to see the mark on the dial to show what is selected, but it makes beeping sounds as you turn it with a lower pitched sound so you know when its reached the off position. The play/pause 'button' did have me stumped for a minute as I couldn't get it to work, however I find now that simply running the palm of my hand over it works best. It's more of a sensor than a button. We haven't used the One Touch feature with a phone as we don't need it. In summary, it feels more technical than it is at first look, but it does work as a decent dryer and no complaints now I know which settings to use.

    Great features, but...

Our previous tumble dryer had done many years of service and was quite basic in it's operation. You twisted the timer dial and off it went. The Hoover has loads of programmes to choose from which is really helpful. However there are a couple of things that aren't great: When you select a programme the digital display shows how long it should run. However, the machine is (I think) sensing when the clothes are dry, and so sometimes turning off early. That's great, saves energy and means the next load can go in ( big family ??) BUT it is often the case that one or two items (usually towels) are not quite dry. That's particularly irritating if you've put the machine on to run and then gone out/to bed. You've now got to add the nearly dry items to the next load or run the cycle again with just a couple of items. Secondly, when you select the cycle you want, you have to wait several seconds before the "run" button will allow you to start the cycle. Doesn't seem like a big issue as I'm writing it now, but when you're in a hurry in the morning or at night.... Hope this helps.
