I’ve had this now for about 6 months after my old Bosch one broke. AO were very good and replaced with a higher spec model as my old one wasn’t available anymore. I was initially reluctant to go with Hisense as I have a bit of German brand snobbery. Now when I first got this I was concerned by the build quality. It’s definitely not as sturdy as my old Bosch. But it works just as well if not better. I don’t use the smart connectivity so can’t comment on that. For me the best feature is the auto door open. I can go away for the weekend and not leave a stinky dishwasher with residue inside. It cleans well if you use the right programme and dishwasher tablets. ALDI Magnum Platinum work well if you use two on the silence overnight programme, but not well on the eco one. Whereas Fairy Platinum Plus work well on the eco one and everything else. By the time you’ve worked out the cost of the tablets vs programme costs it’s pretty much even Steven’s. But with the fairy I know it will work on every wash. It is quiet, on any wash and just remember it’s quiet in context. Don’t expect the intense wash to be dead silent. If you’re looking for good value for money, this is the one to go for.

    Good value dishwasher

Excellent value for money and has all the features you need for everyday family needs. Lots of features and plenty of wash options/cycles. Clever end of cycle automatic door opening for extra drying (although there is still lots of condensed water left on the crockery). Front door is a little bit flimsy but no issues to date. Be aware of the size of the cold water valve connection, it isn't small and requires a large entry point through any kitchen units and also a bit of space when connecting to the cold water supply - just takes a bit longer to install. Overall, seems to be a good product at a very reasonable price and doesn't use a lot of energy on the eco cycle.

I love my new dishwasher. Never had a draw for cutlery before and I much say I do prefer the draw to the basket at the bottom. Also the door opening when on drying mob .

Good flexible product. Door does feel a little plasticky and not very robust. Other than that happy with the product.

We are generally happy with the machine but the door lacks weight and feels flimsy and slightly twists when shutting if you use a hand on one side it needs to be more rigid. Cleaning is good and the machine is no noisier than the Bosch we replaced from that was only 7 years old and had been repaired twice already. Also the top cutlery try could do with a catch to stop the movable parts moving when you would prefer they keep the cutlery stable.

    Unreliable

Functionality and design of the product all seem nice for the price, but the machine is temperamental and frequently won’t let us start a cycle. If we come back after an hour it often works again. The machine won’t tell you if there’s any kind of fault; you have to check the app, but even then, the app often says everything is fine when it still won’t start. The machine is ok when it works but it’s very unpredictable. An repair man came, but it decided to work when he was there, almost like a child faking an illness to get off school! We’re left struggling with an unreliable machine that randomly refuses to work.
