What at amazing upgrade for our kitchen! The design is super sleek, modern and minimalist and fits perfectly with our modern kitchen. Couldn’t be happier with the finely tuned heat control and the boil stop function! Something that really used to annoy me with our previous hob, can’t wait to put it to the test on next pancake day, which I find is the ultimate test for a good hob. I am so impressed so far that I am planning in purchasing the hob extractor that connects with it and turns on automatically as and when needed.

This is a lovely hob from AEG. My old one was about 15 years old, so I am very happy with this new model, the sleek design and supreme efficiency. The first thing I noticed is that it heats up much quicker than my previous hob, impressively so. Because of this, I am very pleased with the Sensiboil functionality that actually works really well. The 14 different heat settings are perhaps a bit excessive, but it will surely cater to everyone's needs. The Booster function is handy and effective. I haven't tried cooking with two zones joined together, but I can imagine it being helpful with larger or oval pots. The touch buttons have just the right level of sensitivity for comfortable control of the functions. It's easy to wipe clean as well. Perhaps my only sight complaint is that without the burners marked out with ring designs on the surface of the hob, it can be a bit difficult to gauge the central spot to position your pan, but I think that's something one can easily master with regular use. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I would certainly recommend this hob to anyone, in fact I already have.

Also, It is very easy to clean and safe due to the fact that it only heats, when appropriate pan is on the hob. Also child lock is key options for our baby! Furthermore, It was only took 2mins until the water gets boiling for my noodles.

After a kitchen refurb my 10-year old hob was looking a little out of place. This AEG model with its frameless edges and slick control panel looks so much smarter. Induction cooking has come a long way since and although you always had perfect control of how the heat was applied the features on the IAE64421FB take this to another level. Sensing your pan size automatically and being able to put large pans or griddles across more than one cooking area opens up more options such as an indoor ‘bbq’ or poaching whole salmon. Have yet to see a pan boil over with the Boil Sensor option so that reduces the number of times you have to fiddle with the cooking levels when cooking vegetables or pasta. The controls are simple and quick to use and get to the right level straight away. Output is good too so rarely have to use the PowerBoost function.
