This is the WORST vacuum I have owned. We are a family of 5 and a dog (non shedding) I had a Shark upright corded prior to this . I was more than happy with my corded vacuum but when it gave up the ghost I decided to move to a cordless version as I believed it might make the process a bit faster not having to move the cord all the time and encourage my children to do some vacuuming. I spend more time unclogging the cleaner than I do actually vacuuming. We have wooden floors and only have minor dust to suck up, our pet is non shedding so not dealing with much hair either however the cleaner power is so weak and the hole at the bottom where the dust passes through clogs up very fast- the wand is next to useless for suction power.
If you are a single person with a cat who vacuums once a week it will be perfectly fine but a busy house that vacuums daily this is NOT for you especially at the price point. I have finally admitted defeat after 8 months of stoically insisting it is fine and gone back to corded.
