A Good Integrated Double Oven, A few niggles though
4/5
I would have liked to give this double oven 5 Stars but I cannot due to the below reasons
The good points are that it looks very smart installed in eye level cabinets.
The grill heats up very quick & also to save energy it kicks in & out when at tempreature.
There is no light inside & the back of the door is enamel metal, the font is glass, so you cannot see inside if using as a top oven. This is not a detriment to me.
The bottom oven has glass in both sides of the door & a light. The oven has worked very well & is fan assisted, it also has a defrost feature.
I find it odd that if you want just the light on, that you have to turn the knob fully clockwise to do it, which turns the oven on at the same, so you have to turn the knob fast just to get the light on, as the knob only turns one way? It would have been better for the light to be the first item on rotating the knob.
The oven comes with a full size grill pan & handle & wire tray.
The oven only has 2 racks & one is for the grill & the other for the main oven, we kept the racks from our old hotpoint which fit. I don't know how Indesit think people can cook a dinner on one rack?
There is a clock, timer for reminder & timer that will switch the oven off at the end of cooking time, these function as they should.
Be aware it suffers from the same problem our old hotpoint did, if you're roasting veg etc. the steam has nowhere to go so it finds it's way over the rubber seal at the bottom & runs down the front of your cupboard. We have draws so I put an old tea towel across it, which works but it's not ideal.
Is it a good double oven? Well for the price I can't say it isn't, but I'm sure that it could have been designed better.
