After 18 months, the front glass exploded. The oven wasn't being used at the time. People were in the room but luckily not near it when it blew - glass went everywhere. They were obviously very shocked. After a lot of effort e.g. posting on Facebook twitter etc, Whirlpool came out and replaced the glass. If you look this up, it's quite common. The design of the door means that the handle is solely supported by the glass.
15 months after that, the fan element has broken. Unfortunately, the screws on the fan surround have entirely rusted and become part of the surround, so cannot be removed without major work. It's therefore a write-off.
A very expensive and frustrating experience.
Also, the silver paint on the knobs rubbed off soon after purchase.
