Disappointed!
2/5
The main oven has issues that I’m surprised haven’t been mentioned in other reviews.
Firstly, it only comes with one shelf and will cost around £30 to buy an additional one.
Secondly it’s small, so if you need to use two shelves, you’ll need to place the lower shelf right at the bottom of the oven to accommodate average size baking trays containing an average amount of food.. for example you’ll get a meat joint on the higher shelf but your potatoes will need to be cooked at the very lowest point of the oven, just a couple of inches from the oven floor...getting the hot dish out at that level is a bit tricky when it’s hot as it’s so close to the open oven door!
Thirdly, the main oven is much lower than it looks in the pictures so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have back problems.
The main oven is fan assisted and cooks ‘okay’ but definitely need to keep turning the baking trays whilst cooking as it’s hotter on one side than the other.. not normally a problem but a pest moving the trays on the bottom shelf for reasons mentioned above!
Thankfully, I usually only need to cook for two.
The top oven and grill is fine, the grill tray slightly small and it doesn’t sit completely flush on the shelf.. needs wiggling about to sit straight.
Very sharp parts which sit under the counter but be careful when unpacking!
The door handles are slightly rough too.
Fitting it wasn’t too bad but a spanner would have been really helpful.
I’m not one to write bad reviews and I understand that it’s at the lower end price wise but I’m honestly surprised that these things haven’t been raised as they are quite basic design issues.
Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this double oven! ??
