Good But Could Be Better
4/5
My last oven was an Indesit and I was happy with that so decided to get another. Very easy to install, comes with a plug attached so no electrician needed. Although the outside dimensions are the same as my last oven, this one is bigger inside so that's good and it's enamelled inside so easy to clean. When cooking, the interior is lit up very well and you can also switch the light off which is good. After all no point in having it lit up for a couple of hours while you're cooking a roast. Just switch the light back on when you want to see how things are going. There's a few small downsides. I think there are too many settings, some of which seem to duplicate other settings. I think I'll only ever use about 4 of them. Like everyone else has said, the timer alarm is pathetic. It's so quiet, you'd have to have hearing like a dog to hear it especially from another room, even in the same room for me. How on earth it ever got approved for production is beyond me. Also it only comes with one shelf when obviously you'll need two although it does also come with a tray so that might be fine for some people. I bought another shelf online for £14. So not a lot of money but factor it into the cost if you're thinking of buying this oven.
All in all a good oven at a very keen price but be aware of the slight niggles. I imagine other companies ovens also have their problems but probably different ones. I'd still buy it again and I do recommend it. For the price I doubt you'll do better.
