Having bought this to replace a very aged cylinder vacuum cleaner, this is heaven! As a woman of a certain age who sheds her long grey hair at an alarming rate and also as an owner of two snow Bengal cats who seem to be in a constant state of moult, I was sick of untangling hair from the cleaning heads on my previous cleaner. This is bliss! I couldn't believe how clean the carpets and floors are now. At first I spotted hair tangling around the roller on this one. too, but did as the manual instructed and ran it over a patch of hard floor and voila! All clear again. I was also pleased at how simple it is to change the power level for different surfaces. Great for clearing stray cat litter off tiled floors. I never thought I'd see the day when 60 minutes run time seems awfully short when you are deep into cleaning mode (I'm not terribly into doing domestic), but maybe I was getting a bit carried away given how simple and useful the conversion from upright and handheld was when the spring sunshine revealed I seem to have more cobwebs in high corners than Miss Haversham ever had! Well, used to have before I bought my Shark. Hopefully others will find it as quiet, versatile and efficient as I have. It's so worth the money.

Very nimble little hoover picks up loads and zips around easily.

I love the digital display, it is heavy but that’s not a problem, it picks up well although doesn’t feel like it sucks hard. It’s a nice vacuum but can’t see how it’s £***worth, but then what vaccine is ??

This is by far the best hoover I’ve had. Powerful, practical and functional. Lightweight, battery lasts and it’s easy to charge and clean. It makes hoovering quick and easy, plus no more worrying about cat fur or hair getting tangled. A good purchase. I highly recommend.

Purchased the item a week ago and really happy with the product so far. I had a Dyson (V6)previously and it appears the Shark is a small step up from that. I like that you can use the hoover on hard floors or carpets with a touch of a button and the anti-hair wrap is a great function. It is heavier than the Dyson but it's just as easy to use and manoeuvrer.

Great vac, love the anti wrap, the elbow to get under furniture and the lights. The settings for carpet to hard floor is really handy and how it folds to stand and charge is brilliant. Really glad we bought this.
