Good looking but pretty basic
3/5
Good looking fridge-freezer with brushed stainless steel doors and textured painted sides.
But the high-end appearance is at odds with the lack of features, such as a temperature readout and open door alarm. The 15 year old Zanussi it replaces had these and more. The single temperature control is awkwardly placed on the back wall of the fridge, meaning you have to take things out to get at it. It's also tricky to put much in the fridge without blocking off the vent holes on the back wall that let chilled air into the fridge. Using a thermometer showed that this raises the temperature too much. Adjusting the thermostat to compensate just makes the freezer excessively cold. So you have to be very mindful of food and drink placement.
