The glass bowl is heavy as stated but I am enjoying using the new mixer very much and it is producing some good cakes and pastry so far.

Very pleased with this product, performs as expected for Kenwood and looks great in the kitchen. Great price compared to some other makes.

We bought this to replace a much used and well loved mixer (a different make) which suddenly died on us. Having had a few Kenwood items already, we were confident this one would be great and we haven't been disappointed. It's super-versatile, much quieter than the old mixer and its slow start mechanism means flour etc doesn't fly out of the bowl when you start it up! In short I'm very pleased with this item and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable stand mixer.

Looks great, is sturdy and very easy to use. Excited to get additional attachments for it to try out. Family pleased with the end results so far :)

Was a bit reluctant to buy as so expensive, but my word what an investment, making bread now so easy, no more aching wrists when mixing cream either, so wish i had bought one years ago.
