This washing machine is great! Installation was really straight forward, within 15 minutes of it being delivered I was ready to go. The washing machine has a really large door, so super easy to lift washing in and out. When you come to use the machine it’s really straightforward and intuitive, and I find when I turn it on it’s already set to the Eco 40 program that I’ll use the most, so load it up, put soap in, switch it on, press go! User manual is there if you need it for any of your non day to day programmes. There’s enough washing programs and options on there to do everything you want, without being overcomplicated, and super easy to increase or decrease the temperature and spin speed with the press of a button if wanted. I have found that my washing comes out fairly crease free, which is fab and means less ironing, most items can just be folded and put away after drying on a clothes airer. The drawer for your soap etc is really big, no more accidentally spilling the softener into the detergent drawer, and it has space for pre wash which is really handy for when you prefer to do a pre wash. When it’s running it is really quiet, and I’ve found myself going to the utility room to check I remembered to press start because I couldn’t hear it going. The display says which stage it is up to and how long is left, which is super useful, and I’ve found the time remaining is reliable. Overall I’m really impressed with the quality of the machine, size of the drum, and cleaning quality!

Installation was straightforward with easy to follow pictured instructions. It’s always nice to be able experience the benefits of a new product shortly after it arrives at home.The clear large display makes operation a breeze, with my favourite setting a few knob turns away. It’s fascinating to watch it weigh the laundry load before it adds water for the wash and the wash itself is deathly quiet, great for keeping laundry day as peaceful as possible.The large door makes loading laundry no hassle at all, and the easy iron setting leaves washed clothes almost crease free, once again saving hassle later on when it comes to long hours spent ironing.Would absolutely recommend as it is on all counts an upgrade to the noisy norm most are used to when it comes to washing machines.Easy to use and even fun to watch.

I am delighted with my new washing machine. The features that impressed me the most are:1. I love the digital screen2. very clear instructions, easy to use3. it is very quiet and this combined with start delay function allows me to do my washing late in the night when the energy is cheaper4. my absolute favourite is the hygiene programme that removes the viruses and bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans and Enterococcus. This is a fabulous feature especially during the cold season when children get lots of stomach bugs, bacterial, viral and fungal infections. During the cold season my little one gets all the sickness bugs which means that I have lots of pyjamas, bed sheets and towels to wash. But now I know that my washings are not only visible clean but also hygienised.5. I can save time and energy by pressing the time save button that shortens the program from 2.5 hours to just under one hour without compromising the quality of the washing.6. the washing machine helps me find the perfect program for each load by weighting the load. I am very impressed so far with my new gadget and I think I have made a very good purchase. Highly recommended!

First impressions of this washing machine were very good. It’s not too bulky but has a large 10kg capacity, which is great for family life. The machine is very quiet even when spinning and I have had to check a few times that it’s still on! I love that on most cycles you can adjust the timing to make it a quicker cycle. Before using I thought that the powder department was very small but upon using, even though it’s slightly tricky to get the powder in, it really is big enough. The clothes come out smelling lovely and with less than half of the powder that I would have used in my previous machine! The pro sense feature seems great, although I’ve not seen the time reduce drastically (max 4 minutes reduction) even with a small wash but I haven’t tried all of the setting yet so may find on different setting the pro sense makes a bigger difference. The drawer and door do seem very flimsy especially for the price of the machine. There’s a lot of excess plastic that comes out attached either side of the draw unnecessarily and the door seems to have a lot of movement in it. The door is also a pain to clean with all of the ridges around it! Overall I think the positives outweigh the negatives with this machine and I am looking forward to making the most of the pro sense once I get to know the programmes better.

I absolutely love this washing machine! The dial to select your chosen program is user friendly, there''s a great range of washes including a 20 minute quick wash. For larger loads the cycle time is longer and the smart feature weighs the load to adjust the time accordingly. I often use the time save button, which significantly shortens the length of the cycle, but still delivers a great wash. I was hesitant about the spin speed of 1400 as my previous machine was 1600, however the washing comes out so much dryer. A brilliant machine!

We’ve only had the washing machine for two weeks and so far we are very pleased with it. It looks good and is very quiet.The spin function is good, as is the 10kg capacity. Really good for towels.Programme times are longer than we’re used to but there is a function to reduce programme durations for smaller loads and lightly soiled items. For example the “Eco Wash” time at 40 degrees was 3 hours 29 minutes but when you press the “time save” touch button the cycle time was reduced to 2 hours 15 minutes. If you press the “time save” touch button again the cycle time was reduced further to 1 hour 35 minutes. There is also a 20 minute wash programme for loads up to 3kg and normal or lightly soiled items.There is a load size indicator called “ProSense”. In 30 seconds the machine estimates the weight in the drum and either allows the load to continue if it’s within the maximum load, or if the load is over it tells you and gives you the opportunity to remove items.With the 10kg drum size and the 20 minute cycle we think that this appliance will suit large and small families, and couples.The AEG website is very good as you can view the user manual and full specification of the equipment you are considering before purchasing.

An excellent machine, we are really pleased with it. We do most of our laundry in the weekend in bulk and this machine can take lots of cloths in and comes out clean. The spin is very efficient and it doesn’t leave much moisture on the clothes. We noticed that when the clothes are moved into the dryer, it takes less time than it used to but gives same results. Nowadays We do more frequent washes than before to disinfect cloths due to covid concerns and 20min 3kg programme is super helpful to quickly wash kids uniforms every day after the school. Most of our washes are not soiled and we use "Time Save" option with washing programme. This option reduces washing time significantly and saves energy. The timer on the machine is accurate, controls are easy to use and the display is very clear which even attracts our little one. We now use "Child Lock" feature to prevent her messing up with the washes. Overall, it is an excellent machine for daily use.
