As an adult nothing beats the joy of getting a new appliance. We spent more on this one than I wanted to really, but thought we'd get what we paid for. I do like this machine, it's good looking, sleek and fuss free. Choice of programmes is limited and I think that is my biggest bug bear for the price. I like that the machine weighs your load, but the selection I use says it's a max load of 5kg, given I ordered a 10kg machine I find this really frustrating. I will keep using the setting as it doesn't take long and things are getting clean. Even better is that I can drop to 30 degrees now, whereas my old machine did not clean clothes at this temp. Overall I am pleased with the machine, but on reflection I wouldn't have paid such a high price if I could go back and do it again knowing what I now know. Also a little note, the draw can be quite stiff and take a little tug to open, so if you have grip/strength issues then I would urge you to try it out in a store before purchasing.

I was very excited to try an AEG washing machine as I’ve never had one before. The overall look of the machine is a fantastic large door, easy to use controls and a extra large draw, which I don’t particularly like the look of but at least there’s no chance of getting fabric conditioner in with the powder. It was great that it had a duvet cycle and weighs the washing prior to washing. I also love the idea that you can select a program and then change the temperature or spin and even shorten it. It is a bit bigger than my last machine which means i doesn’t fit properly under my counter top but that’s my fault I didn’t check. It’s very quiet for a big machine.

Installation was straightforward with easy to follow pictured instructions. It’s always nice to be able experience the benefits of a new product shortly after it arrives at home. The clear large display makes operation a breeze, with my favourite setting a few knob turns away. It’s fascinating to watch it weigh the laundry load before it adds water for the wash and the wash itself is deathly quiet, great for keeping laundry day as peaceful as possible. The large door makes loading laundry no hassle at all, and the easy iron setting leaves washed clothes almost crease free, once again saving hassle later on when it comes to long hours spent ironing. Would absolutely recommend as it is on all counts an upgrade to the noisy norm most are used to when it comes to washing machines.Easy to use and even fun to watch

I am delighted with my new washing machine. The features that impressed me the most are: 1. I love the digital screen 2. very clear instructions, easy to use 3. it is very quiet and this combined with start delay function allows me to do my washing late in the night when the energy is cheaper 4. my absolute favourite is the hygiene programme that removes the viruses and bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans and Enterococcus. This is a fabulous feature especially during the cold season when children get lots of stomach bugs, bacterial, viral and fungal infections. During the cold season my little one gets all the sickness bugs which means that I have lots of pyjamas, bed sheets and towels to wash. But now I know that my washings are not only visible clean but also hygienised. 5. I can save time and energy by pressing the time save button that shortens the program from 2.5 hours to just under one hour without compromising the quality of the washing. 6. the washing machine helps me find the perfect program for each load by weighting the load. I am very impressed so far with my new gadget and I think I have made a very good purchase. Highly recommended!

The installation of this was so quick and easy. Wow, I have had to check to see if it was on. The machine is so quiet. I love the different cycle options. The 20 minute option is excellent for a quick and easy cycle. The hour one is great for a big was. Clothes smell amazing and so few creases. Couldn''t be happier. I find it so easy to use and am really happy with the timer allowing me to get the wash loads done at convenient times for myself.I really struggle to find any concerns with this product, it has reached my expectations and some.

On opening the cover the look oh the machine is very good ,Nice and big drum ,like all the features on the display, washed white sheets came out so good ,and the washing load of 10kg saving energy costs as don't have to do the washing so often, overall very pleased so far ??

First impressions of this washing machine were very good. It’s not too bulky but has a large 10kg capacity, which is great for family life. The machine is very quiet even when spinning and I have had to check a few times that it’s still on! I love that on most cycles you can adjust the timing to make it a quicker cycle. Before using I thought that the powder department was very small but upon using, even though it’s slightly tricky to get the powder in, it really is big enough. The clothes come out smelling lovely and with less than half of the powder that I would have used in my previous machine! The pro sense feature seems great, although I’ve not seen the time reduce drastically (max 4 minutes reduction) even with a small wash but I haven’t tried all of the setting yet so may find on different setting the pro sense makes a bigger difference. The drawer and door do seem very flimsy especially for the price of the machine. There’s a lot of excess plastic that comes out attached either side of the draw unnecessarily and the door seems to have a lot of movement in it. The door is also a pain to clean with all of the ridges around it! Overall I think the positives outweigh the negatives with this machine and I am looking forward to making the most of the pro sense once I get to know the programmes better.
