Quiet and efficient, working really well for us

Quiet, easy to use, good value for money for size of drum and dryer capabilities.

I was very nervous ordering a washer dryer after having one years ago that wasn't great at washing or drying. I'm thrilled to say this is a million times better. The number of programmes and options are a little intimidating at first but it's fine once you're used to it. I particularly love the outdoor setting for my waterproof hiking clothing. Clothes have been clean, fresh and stain free on all of the settings I've used. I dont use the drying feature for all wash loads but it's very effective. You can choose you level of dryness which is great and my towels are now as soft as they were new. I thought the steam setting would be a bit if a gimmick but I've used it a lot. It's great for freshening up/sanitising bed sheets from our spare room, curtains, cushion covers etc. It doesn't give them a fresh scent but that's not an issue for me. The only thing I wish this machine had is some type of lint filter. I have to vacuum and wipe out the machine after using the dryer feature. There isn't very much but it is a bit of a pain. Overall I love this machine and I'm thrilled I no longer have damp towels hanging around my house to dry anymore. My daughter is also over the moon that her school tshirts are much softer now.

With a new baby coming soon next year we thought we’d get prepared with a brand new washer dryer as we had not previously had a dryer in this house.??We have been blown away by the drum size, the features and ability of this appliance since it arrived. It has a sleek appearance, it is very easy to use for both my husband. The steam feature is great if you want to give something a quick refresh. The drying capability has cut down our laundry chores by hours and washing facility is great. ??You don’t put any laundry products in the drum, they all go in the little drawer which takes some getting used to but the appliance is carefully designed. ??We don’t find it all that quiet but it isn’t an issue as it sits in the utility room. The wash and dry ability takes over 3 hrs minimum which is a little long but the auto dry feature is great so you don’t have to guess how long to dry clothes with.?? Overall we are very impressed.  

Having always been slightly reticent of buying a washer-dryer when the time came to replace our Washing Machine this AEG Washer/Dryer allayed any fears over performance. The convenience of being able to put a load on and set it to wash and dry automatically has always appealed and this AEG doesn't disappoint. I guess our biggest concern was how well it would dry the clothes and after using it a dozen or so times the drying part hasn't failed to deliver exactly as the settings described. If you're someone who has cheaper overnight electricity, the use of the timed (Finish In) function to have clothes washed and dried, is a great energy saver on top of the energy efficiency of the wash programs. One such program is the Steam (Refresh) function which uses something like 2 litres of water to steam any clothes which don't necessarily need washing and is done in as little as 15 minutes. ProSense is another energy-saver. When you put the load on this feature starts and automatically adjusts the duration of the wash and how much water to use based on what's in the drum. The Universal Dose drawer (not to be confused with Auto Dose) apparently does a better job of dissolving the detergent and pods than if put directly in the drum. All I can say to that is all the wash programs we've used so far have hit the mark and the washing comes out smelling great. The journey from a separate Washer and Dryer to this AEG combined Washer/Dryer has been an easy one and the results haven't disappointed.
