This washer dryer comes strongly recommended. We needed something economical that would also be quiet enough for the place it lives--close to our breakfast table, and after a lot of searching, chose this AEG. There is a cheaper model without the steam function, but we felt this would be very useful in future, especially as it can just freshen up lightly worn clothes without having to fully wash them and use a lot of water. It only takes 30 minutes, though I believe it's possible to change the timing. I can confirm that it's incredibly quiet in operation, even at its max 1600 rpm; this speed really helps get clothes dry. The only minuses so far are that the workings are quite complex and sometimes require us to look them up in the manual. Also, the steam fragrance that AEG used to sell doesn't seem to exist any more; we were looking forward to that. Finally, it only has a 2 year guarantee, which is admittedly par for the course, though some other manufacturers are giving up to 7 years parts and labour. Overall, an excellent machine.

It was worth waiting for it. I really love my new washer-dryer, it`s doing a great job. Lots of programs to choose from, I really like the "PODS" option, and so silent. The programs are not too long. The dryer is also perfect. It`s much cheaper to run than my previous washer-dryer. I just love everything about it.
