Reasonable Freezer with a few minor issues.
3/5
Reasonable Freezer but certainly a few minor installation issues - Firstly the manual which was supplied in a drawer had rusty staples. Not an issue for the manual but somewhere along the process the unit has been exposed to high humidity and / or damp. No corrosion visible anywhere else so maybe an anomaly.
Secondly, the facia mounting screws in the door are tapped machine screws on one side but if you don't need to reverse the door for your particular installation then the other side of the door has self tappers for the facia mounting brackets. It really did not affect my installation as I had to reverse the door but it really should be machine screws both top and bottom.
Third small issue is that the rear feet cannot be adjusted from the front of the unit so you will need to adjust the feet before sliding the unit in to check for correct height.
Fourth issue is one of use - the door need to be opened well past 90 degrees to allow the drawers to slide past the door seal. Again, not an issue for my installation but where the door is obstructed I would not hold out much hope for the door seal which will get repeatedly snagged by the drawers.
Final issue - the price dropped by £20 after I purchased it....
Other than the above, it seems to run well - Seems robust and runs very quietly. Only been installed for a week so will have to see if it lasts 25 years like the Whirlpool branded freezer it replaced......
