Dreadful product and customer service, avoid at all costs

On 04.06.2024 I ordered from ao.com a Fridgemaster fridge-freezer for my elderly mother. On 07.06.2024 the appliance was delivered. After a few weeks of use I noticed that the fridge did not appear to be as cold as it should be. With a calibrated temperature sensor (I'm a doctor of engineering) I monitored the fridge temperature and found that it never went below 10degC regardless of setting or appliance location. On 22.07.2024 I contacted Fridgemaster customer services. On 25.07.2024 a technician from Pacifica, the repair agent, visited to inspect the appliance. He said that in his opinion it is unrepairable but he would need to refer back to his manager and it may be decide that parts would be ordered and repair attempted. Parts were ordered on 26.07.2024 and nothing has happened since. Every time I call I'm fobbed off and told that parts are on order and should be in soon. My mother has been without a working fridge since 07.06.2024. Do not be tempted by Fridgemaster's low prices. The appliances and customer service are appalling.
