Arrived as described. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Quick to chill……..so they’re all the positive points about this Fridgemaster MCF198B chest freezer, now for the bad points: It arrived damaged with a large dent inside at the bottom of the freezing compartment. After a weeks use, with nothing in it apart from a single pizza, it has started to develop significant frost on the inside.

Hello, I would like to say that this product (Chest Freezer) is an absolute must have for all households no matter what size the family is. It’s Ideal for bulk shopping, and even storing cooked food. Frozen ready cooked meal which just needs a quick warm up in a microwave, as specially coming home late from work, pub, and don’t feel or have time to cook, as especially if restricted from going out, could be due to bad or poor health issues, bad weather, car broken down, waiting for parcel delivery (Example: Cheat Freezer), etc….then this cheat freezer is just perfect. It is just the right size and fits in my storage cupboard perfect, and very economical to run. It’s so easy to setup, and I really like the temperature control dial where it is fitted, the freezer door is so light to open and close, just lifts up to open, and push down to close. The running cost can be easily monitored and worked out daily, weekly or monthly if you got a smart meter installed. This Cheat Freezer is definitely helping to save lots and lots of money buying a variety of bulk frozen food shopping, with a choice of online shopping and home deliveries. Especially with the present “Cost Of Living Crises” which is effecting everyone in the UK. I wish I had invested in a cheat freezer long long time ago, as especially during covid lockdown period, but such as life “Better late, then Never”. AO is a terrific company, with fantastic customer’s service and very fast delivery including brilliant communication all the way through from the time of purchase. This has been my third purchase from AO and planning to buy another product again soon. I highly recommend this Chest Freezer. Thank you

Just what we wanted a speak black chest freezer with plenty of room inside

Very good thus far, very quiet and cost around £1.50 to run for the last week, considering the times that we are in. Easy to set up and well packaged, also very quiet I have it in my dining room with a wooden floor, which it sits on & I hardly notice it. Price was very competitive & the colour is pleasant on the eye. I have filled it up to the brim with food & after a week seems to be miminal ice build up. Talking of ice, the drain plug is on the bottom left front so probably easy to drain when required to defrost, can easily fit a roasting tray (or similar) to collect the waste water. All in all very pleased & would highly recommend to another customer.

Is look little bit smaller then I expected but have so much room inside definitely great product.
