It's a perfectly good product for the money. We use it as an 'overflow' freezer and transfer to main freezer, as needed. There doesn't seem to be a lot of pressure on the lid, it lifts easily. But it deals and works fine. The little tray is useful for smaller items, so you don't have to hunt for them. Very happy with purchase.

A small chest freezer which is ideal for popping into the garage even if temperature this winter drop below freezing this machine will cope up -15 deg. Very easy to access so very pleased with out purchase
