Value for money. Happy with my purchase so far.
5/5
I've had this for less than a week, with my old oven breaking down last week. Since I was buying a new and modern oven, I thought it best to change the microwave also to match the new aesthetic of the kitchen and also as my 6 year old microwave already had door issues.
I ordered this on a Wednesday evening, paid for next day delivery and it arrived the next day at 8am from AO. I didn't pay for the expert installation so I set it up myself and this was quite straight-forward (as I've installed appliances in my kitchen before).
It came with a lot of accessories (grill tray, pizza tray, microwave cover+tray and a handle to pick up the hot pizza tray).
I was a little concerned by some of the reviews I read about noise but so far, It's being just there about the sound of normal microwave to me so that doesn't bother me. It feels study, is quite modern and digital (unlike my older microwave) and does a good job also with higher power.
I had read a review about the 1000W not found to be so but I figured that that was only under the automatic setting. I was able to figure out how to set the power under the normal microwave setting eventually (and I will touch on this in the cons below). So, I am glad that it's working with full power and quickly too.
The few cons I have is that the manual isn't quite easy to figure out for some of the settings. It's quite lightweight and it took a lot of trying different settings to figure out what was what. I had to fiddle with a lot of the settings to get it to work as I would expect a simple microwave operation to be i.e. put in food, set power, set time and go. But once I figured it out, it's been great.
I wish the manual was a little more detailed or intuitive to use as that would have made the experience a little more pleasant but asides that, this has been a great buy.
The only other trivial con is that the menu goes through the middle dial and many pages to get simple things done sometimes. It would have been easier if it was touchscreen but I guess that's not enough of a bother.
Last of all, there is no way to stop the operation after it begins except to open the door. Again, not a minus. It's just taken a minute to get used to this as I keep trying to find a stop button.
Would recommend.
