Sleek design, modern hardware and a great tablet all round
4/5
A lot of online video reviews say this iPad isn’t worth purchasing, they advise to get the last gen iPad Air instead. However the prices that AO have the 256GB version for make it more cost-effective and the cheapest option. Plus this iPad has a newer chip and design which looks really slick in silver and means it will last you longer if you don’t intend to buy an upgrade anytime soon. It has a decent sized 10.9” screen and supports touch ID on the button too.
Reviewers also complained when it launched that it only supported the Apple Pencil Gen 1 which has a lightning connection, but Apple does now offer the USB C Apple Pencil which works great on this 10th Gen iPad.
The iPad has a great camera, one of the few iPads to have the front cam featured in the centre - and it films HQ 4K videos.
I would thoroughly recommend this iPad if you need something for studying, work based tasks or general recreational activities. Those who need an iPad for creative tasks, you might be better suited buying an iPad Air or iPad Pro.
