Good size oven, feature rich, dark window on door.
4/5
Only had the microwave a short time but it seems good. I specifically chose this for the ceramic enamel interior as the painted plastic interior of my previous unit decayed after a few years.
Reviews I had seen mention the interior light not being up to much but it's absolutely fine. The main difference is that the door of the unit is very tinted so you can't really see through whilst the food is cooking without holding your hands above your brow and peering through at point-blank range, which I'm okay with.
I haven't used any feature apart from the standard press-a-button to activate cooking method, which adds 30 second increments. But there is a funky sounding Deodoriser to get rid of smells, a Quick Defrost function where you just put in the weight of the food, and also a child lock which prevents accidental activation. I will use these at some stage I'm sure.
I was impressed by the size. By this I mean the large internal dimensions compared to the modest outer dimensions. My previous unit was a 17 litre capacity oven yet the outer dimensions are almost the same as the Samsung, so definitely not the imposing bohemoth I feared that it might be.
