I absolutely love this American Fridge Freezer! Purchased for new house and new kitchen (it was sat in living room in its unopened packaging for a good few weeks while we waited for new kitchen to be fitted). Having never had this type of freezer before and going from undercounter separate slim fridge and freezer, I can't stop recommending this to people. Loads of space for a great price, plenty of shelves and also has some storage in the door of the freezer for smaller items - my son knows straight away where to go to for an ice cream or lolly ice :-) There's enough shelves in the freezer to be able to store products in "groups" too, I have one shelf for "mains", another for vegetables, one for potato products, and I use the bottom pull out compartment for freezing raw meat. The fridge is the same, plenty of shelves and I use the salad draw at the bottom again for raw meat (I don't like the idea of raw meat potentially dripping on to fresh food). Hubby was particularly impressed with how easily he can now get a beer lol. Storage shelves in the door too - I feel I've been challenged to see how much chocolate I can fit in one shelf, so far doing pretty good! Did I also mention there's a light in the freezer too?
This model doesn't come with a noise/beep to let you know if the door has accidently been left open, but I don't think it's needed - the weight of the doors seem to help close themselves when gently pushed closed. I also didn't bother with the water dispenser version, as I looked at it as just another thing to clean.
It's a nice colour too, it's not a light silver, more of a grey but fits in perfectly in our kitchen. Not noisy at all - I can't think of anything I don't like about it.
