Great fridge freezer. Loads of fridge capacity and the freezer is a bonus extra to compliment an existing freezer. The ability to change the default temperature settings is great as is the option to leave it to AI to keep it at optimal temperatures. The side panels have an orange peel effect whereas the doors are smooth, but I think it gives an extra aesthetic appeal. The smooth doors do not show up fingerprints which was a mild concern prior to purchase. The open door alert is a great feature which is not as annoying as that on other units as it beeps quietly to tell you the door is open and then pauses for awhile before repeating.
The sides do get very hot on first plug in while the unit equalises and cools, and they get mildly warm if the doors have been open for awhile, but this is normal for a unit like this with the refrigerating element fully enclosed (ie the back.is smooth).
All in all a great item that replaced a tall fridge unit - I hope it lasts us a long time ! :-)
