Good product, poor delivery service

The product itself is working well enough. The problem was with delivery. The first appliance had a dent in the door; a second one had an even larger dent in the same place. Success at the third attempt.
So, on 3 consecutive days, we had to wait in till the van arrived - to be fair, we were kept informed ok the likely time of delivery along the way. Also, the freezer had to be emptied and defrosted 3 times.
We could not be guaranteed an early slot for the second and third attempts. If it can be done for an extra payment, why not to appease a disappointed customer? A discounted price for the faulty appliance was refused by us.
