    Valur for money but don't try changing the door opening side.

    These freezers are pretty good value for money, however unless you have an angle grinder, thermic lance, industrial grade riveter, power wrench and a box of plasters handy do not attempt to loosen the bolts that hold the door on in order to change the hanging side of your door. The screws that hold the door on are made from a very soft metal and are seemingly but in with that air wrench that tyre centres use to snap your car wheel bolts!

    The vacuum seal on the door won’t allow the freezer door to be opened unless you hold l the body of the freezer. The door just drags the freezer along the floor. Secondly, we tried to change the hand of the door, but the screws are in so tight even an impact drill cannot move them. I am only writing this because you asked me for a review.

    The price was very competitive for this upright freezer. The Item is a smart looking unit which has plenty of capacity and does it's job quietly and efficiently. The claim that the door can be hung either left opening or right opening remains to be seen. I'm fairly competent around this type of job and it had me beat. the door is fitted to the freezer using screws which have both a cross head screwdriver option or a 7mm spanner/socket. I snapped a pozidrive bit and rounded two of the screws. I tried a 7mm ring spanner, a 7mm socket and finally a pair of mole grips, none of which would budge the three screws holding the top hinge. So if you are considering changing the door around I estimate that you will need:- An Angle Grinder, A welder, Explosives and one of those drills that they used in the Hatton Garden Robbery! We bought two of these hoping to have the doors opening like an american double fridge, the reality is we have two freezers that are hinged on the right hand side!
