Excellent machine very happy with my purchase.

Robust, well made machine. Easy to use, good instructions with it. Not too large to leave out on worktop. Hooks & discs kept in bag provided. I've kept the rest of the items in a storage/shelf basket in a cupboard. Would I recommend? Yes, definitely.

Absolutely brilliant, so easy to use. Made bread, cakes, biscuits and used the slicer to slice vegetables and salad. Best mixer i have ever used.

I love my BoschMUM. Using the stand mixer for various doughs on a weekly basis saves me a lot time and actually pain in my hands from whisking batters and kneeding bread doughs etc. I had two major issues with my previous food processor, which I now don't have anymore: The BoschMUM doesn't move at all on the surface, which I love. I don't have to stand next to the BoschMUM when it's doing its thing, I finally can do other things at the same time. The second thing: the Bosch is much quieter than my FP before. The food processing attachments with really sharp discs work perfectly. Homemade milkshakes or smoothies are easily made. I have yet to try the meat mincer and citrus press, but I have already tried to attach all to the main stand mixer. It's all really easy to assemble and if you get stuck, the manual explains everything. You don't get just a stand mixer with the usual 3 whisks and a splash guard. The stand mixer has various attachments included which are handy. Everything is easy to clean, as you can pop a lot into the dishwasher. The all over quality is what I would expect from a Bosch item. Simply great. All in all it is probably one of my most favourite kitchen items. Also a big plus: it's pretty and doesn't take too much space on the worktop.

The two main reasons for purchasing this were making hummus and kneading bread dough. It fails to make hummus properly as the blender clogs at the bottom rather than working though all the chickpeas. After a lot of manual intervention to redistribute the contents, I acheived a rough paste, but there was not chance of getting a smooth blend. Dough kneading works, but I've found it takes twice as long as by hand (obviously without the physical effort though), and doesn't quite achieve the same elastic quality. Perhaps this is because the standard 500g (of flour) is too small to properly throw the dough around the bowl, but I'm just guessing. Haven't tried anything else with it yet.
