The sound on these HomePod Minis is much better than I was expecting! You can turn the volume right up and there is no noticeable sound distortion. The bass is also excellent. I love the hand-off feature with iPhone which works even without the U1 chip in your phone. Set-up is easy if you’re in the Apple bubble. Siri is surprisingly responsive compared to Google/Alexa. If you have Philips Hue lights, it acts upon the request instantly. Google/Alexa are very slow in comparison! The voice is more natural too but HomeKit integrations are limited. The Intercom feature is great for announcements across your household if you all have Apple devices.

Great little device with a BIG sound, really recommend the HomePod mini – this is th second one I've bought.

Nice and simple to setup, it automatically popped up on my phone screen and followed the instructions and was up and running in no time. The sound quality of such a small speaker is second to none. Playing music and using Siri makes this such a great addition to my smart home. Next step a second one in preparation for iOS 15.

If you are already in the apple ecosystem it’s super easy to setup (just bring your iPhone nearby and follow on screen setup). Sound is decent for such a small product. Intercom function is handy too for telling the kids dinner is ready.
