Not a great dryer. There’s no timer so you have to choose a drier setting eg cupboard dry but that doesn’t always work. The dryer sometimes stops mid cycle for no reason. It. Does take an age eg 2.5 hours for a duvet and one pillow but that’s the downside of saving energy .After 20 months It has now developed a really noisy screeching sound so it’s time to contact Hotpoint. Wouldn’t buy again.

Really lovely machine very quiet and dries washing really well.

Works well for us and a good deal on price. We wanted to upgrade for more efficient dryer as we use at least once a day. Sometimes have to put on for extra time, as using sensor drying leaves some of clothes damp - we assumed selecting as cupboard dry would be fully dry but this is not always the case.

Which said 'You could do better', but it was Hobsons choice with what was in stock and could be delivered quick! However we are very pleased! (Maybe because the old one was15+ years old?) I particularly like that fact it just stops when clothes are dry, so it runs for exactly the right amount of time. The water tank is at the top which makes is easy to pull out and empty Only downside are the 2 fluff filters are a fiddle to clear compared to my last one - two to do and need pulling out and clicking open.

I am now used to the heat pump technology and I find the product both efficient and quiet. Would definitely buy again/recommend.

Great tumble dryer!

Easy to install. Nice looking product. Delivered within the two hour slot allocated with a phone call before. Excellent.
