Heat Pump Dryer wins hands down!
5/5
First time I have used a heat pump tumble dryer. It is excellent. Yes, the cycles take a little longer than in an ordinary condenser machine. However, the energy saving is a win-win for our family. The reverse action is also a win-win. Bigger items, like duvet covers and sheets, don't tangle at all. The design, the easy to understand controls, the huge drum and door that opens really wide are all a bonus. I only use the dryer when the weather is inclement or if I am desperate for particular items for work and so on. I have had x 3 Hotpoint dryers in the last 37 years! All have been reliable, each was only replaced after many years of use, because a newer, more efficient and energy saving model has been available. This is a well considered purchased, simply because of where I live, a dryer is almost now an essential item for us. The washing always comes out uncreased. I just either hang it straight up in the wardrobe, or fold to put away it there is really very little ironing being done in our house any more. The design and look of the machine, the size of the drum, the easy control panel is the best I have seen so far. I ensured to measure the space the freestanding dryer was to fit into before ordering. It went in with room to spare. I cant think of anything negative to say, other than I am going to be careful not to use it unecesarikly when the weather is good. All in all, very happy with my purchase and also happy to recommend.
