    So far so good

    5/5
It's very quiet and dried the clothes a lot quicker than our old dryer. Looks quite nice as well. Connected it directly to the drain so that my Mrs doesn't have to keep emptying the tank-and it was dead easy. Just to to extend the little pipe. A bit longer pipe would definitely be better. I haven't checked the energy consumption but home it is what it says on it.

    Super dryer!

    5/5
Great product. Really impressed with all of the settings and the times each take. Has delayed start which is useful to wash at night time. Really efficient and cheaper to run than my previous dryer. The clothes feel super fresh and the machine doesn’t feel warm which is great.

    Brilliant for savings

    5/5
My sole reason for purchasing this heat pump dryer was to counter the effects of the latest electricity price hike in some way. I have a very old condensing dryer which I was forced to use on a particularly wet day, according to my smart meter display the cost for drying a mixed load was £0.77p, this is on the unit price of 26.53p/kWh. A mixed load with the new heat pump dryer was logged at £0.25p giving a saving per load of £0.52p. A dry cycle with bedding from a double bed, (sheet, duvet cover and 2 pillowcases) was £0.20p. These prices also include my computer and fridge freezer which would also have contributed a small amount to these figures. As for the appliance, it looks good, is not too noisy and the filters and water tank are easily cleaned/emptied after use. So far, I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

    Replacement dryer.

    5/5
After my old condenser tumble dryer finally stopped working I was looking for a similar model to my old one. After looking on yhe ao website, within five minutes I was very satisfied with my choice of the Hotpoint Heat Pump dryer. Good A*** economy rating and good reviews. Compared to what I thought I was going to have to pay for a good replacement I am very satisfied with my purchase. Only used it once so far and very satisfied. Definitely recommend.

    Very impressed so far.

So far I am very impressed with the Tumble Dryer. It feels solidly built runs smoothly and quietly compared to my old Dryer. Best of all it uses far less power to complete a cycle. For my first trial I plugged the dryer into a good quality power meter added about 5kg of cotton items, washed and spun at 1600 rpm and set it on the mix setting. It completed the cycle in about 65 minutes, the items were dry to my satisfaction and the power meter indicated 0.39 kWh. My old vented dryer would have used almost 2 kWh. I removed and opened the filters removed most of the lint with my fingers and then vacuumed them from the inside using a small vacuum fitted with a very soft brush. Not as difficult as I expected it to be. Only time will tell how reliable the machine will be. It seems that lint clogging the filters or other parts of the machine is the main cause of problems so I will pay careful attention to the filters after each cycle and hope that provides a reliable machine.
