I don't normally buy Hotpoint white goods, based on past experience, but I read the excellent reviews, the price was excellent too and I took the plunge. The dryer works really well. It's simple to set a delayed start and the filters are easy to clean - which is particularly important on heat pump dryers. Only time will tell on reliability, but we're very happy so far.

Its very difficult to work out where the negative reviewers are coming from, especially where they are saying the time to dry is a disaster for them. Chuck clothes in, set to ECO and off it goes, very quiet and no condensation. Carry on with my life and then a couple of hours later (it was a full load) grab dry washing from machine and put away. Far better than sitting watching the timer ticking over (I have better things to do than worry about the tumble dryer time). So one happy customer here, great machine, quick dry for a heat pump machine, and quiet

Good tumble dryer. It does take longer than a condenser dryer but is worth it. I haven’t had any major shrinking. Haven’t figured out all the settings yet - been using synthetics for most loads. Bedding/bath for bedding & towels. Easy to empty the water and lint filter. Other pros - eco mode, timer, active care feature to preserve quality of clothes & nice and quiet. Would recommend.

Excellent! Easy to use with clear buttons and dials. A lot less noisy than our previous Hotpoint tumble dryer too!

I am loving my new drier. It is very quiet compared to my old one and even though some of the settings say that it could take quite a long time to dry your clothes, once they are dry it switches off.

Amazing. I can’t believe we’ve had a vented dryer for years. This drier is quiet, easy to use and very economical. Would definitely recommend.
