So I knew what I was looking for and this tumble dryer ticked all the boxes. We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a 10yr old) so the 9kg capacity suits! I have never owned a tumble dryer before so can only go on current experience. There are 2 filters that MUST be cleaned after every use as well as the water container. The filters collect a lot of lint etc. I have a handheld vacuum that makes cleaning easy but I can see it becoming an annoying chore. I wanted a reverse action feature and although this dryer has it, it is not effective. So clockwise it will rotate about 40 turns and then the reverse action kicks in for about 8 turns, so items are still coiled. A full 7kg mixed load from my washing machine takes about 150 minutes on the mixed tumble dryer setting - I like that it had a time left display and that it auto senses dryness so adjusts the time. Overall I am a tumble dryer convert, but for future will consider that reverse action is effective and I think having temperature info included rather than just types of cycles (mixed/eco/bedding/wool etc) would be better. It looks good and does the job well enough. It is slightly on the noisy side. We have a 46db dishwasher, so the tumble dryer at 65db was surprisingly loud in comparison. There is a lot of gear changing sounds happening too. Maybe not ideal for open plan but do-able.

Its a brilliant Dryer that doesnt leave your clothes creased. Easy to empty the water and dust collectors. It looks really smart, and the best thing ever is the A++ electricity rating. Absolutely love it, I had a Bosch before which I loved but this is better.

This is brilliant!! So many different programmes, different drying settings and very easy to use. First time I've had a heat pump tumble dryer and it is much more efficient and less costly to run.

Overall happy with product, only little issue is that after every 4 to 6 cycles you have to go down on your hands and knees to remove the additional filter, clean and replace it, which is a simple process WHICH is in addition to removing the fluff from the door open fluff filter. Machine is very quiet and clothes come out dry and not damaged. Would so far recommend this Hotpoint Heat Pump Dryer.

Very quiet, slightly longer drying time and doesn't leave room full of condensation and hot. Fantastic purchase

Pretty good. Always have to do 2 drys to get fully dry. Otherwise very happy.

This product does was it says.It is quite,energy efficient and excellent value for money.I've hardly any ironing .

Great looking product, very quite compared with our old condenser, although dry times are meant to be longer the fact that it uses sensors to stop when dry it is actually shorter dry time, which must be better for the clothes and the bills!
