The best vacuum cleaner I have owned in 38 years! it's fantastic and does what it claims, unlike some other more expensive well known brands. Quality of all parts is high, easy to use and very powerful. I have arthritis and a lower back problem, all other vacuums I have tried recently have been difficult for me to use. The Shark is so easy that I don't need to up my painkillers after doing the stairs!!! I am very happy with my Shark and will not buy another brand of cleaner again.

Bought this to replace a Dyson handheld/cordless that had been increasingly problematic and then abruptly died. First Impressions are really good. Even though the Dyson had been run round and had been working two days before, the extra power from plugin vacuum still picked up a lot on first use. Some of the plastics feel a little cheap and potentially brittle compared to the Dyson, but fit and finish on everything is excellent, performance very good, weight very manageable and the design simple and effective.
