Seems great. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
4/5
I have only used this a couple of times so can't comment on the longevity of the vacuum so these are only my first impressions. After having three cordless vacuums I have given up and gone back to just having a corded. I have kept one of the cordless ones for mid week whizz around. I never found that any of the cordless ones had the suction of corded and even if they did at the beginning it didn't last long. Also all three cordless vacuums have died just after the 2 year warranty is up. So I love that the shark has a 5 year warranty.
I definitely noticed that this was heavier than any cordless I have had and yet during research I picked this as it is lighter than some other sharks. However being able to use the liftaway functionality meant I could use it as a kind of cylinder vacuum which I quite liked.
The lift away is great for going under furniture as well and doing anything up high. I pretty much found myself hoovering anything that could possibly have dust on it.
The suction was really good, which was the main thing I was after. I just hope it stays that way! I was horrified how much it picked up after having just vacuumed with our last Cordless.
So quick and easy to empty.
Great on the stairs.
Better dust capacity than Cordless.
Not sure how well the antiwrap is working as there is already hair around the roller already.
Could do with a bag for the attachments or something to mount them on.
Easy to put together.
I forgot to switch between hard floor and carpet at some points which was a bit annoying but not a major thing.
The main thing for me was that my carpets, floor and stairs felt cleaner than they have done for ages. I really hope that it maintains that for a good few years.
