What I would change .the hand held part is not s easy to flex on the stair case . The hand held part is rigid and puts pressure on the wrists because of ilthe inflexibility

    5/5
So effective , picks up hair and debris with ease . Easy to use as an upright and to remove parts of the body o clean stairs and other areas that are not so easy to reach

Shark - as good as they say it is

    5/5
Our old vacuum (named after a King of England) died - and we needed a replacement. Did the research and went for this unit. Unbelievable difference, I now know that the previous vacuum cleaner pushed most of the dust into the carpet - this really lifts it out and is very versatile. Very happy!

Impressive suction and a few 'not-so-sures' at this stage

    4/5
Slightly dubious of giving a rating so soon after we've had it. Here's what we've learnt and time will tell on the rest. The suction on this vacuum is great. We'd had some decoration done and the new vacuum is picking up so much dust that the old one seems to have missed. But the dust receptacle isn't very big so it fills quickly - can't work out if that's good or bad; it certainly empties easily (once you get the hang of release catches). The old model had a retractable lead and the new one doesn't and I miss that feature. Additionally you have to wind the lead pretty tight when you're finished to prevent any excess cable - and the catch for holding the lead when using it isn't so great and so it comes undone easily, leaving you with trailing lead again. Have used it in it's other modes to some success - like doing the stairs, so like the adaptability. The main 'upright' brush is very heavy and so am worried about it breaking with too much use - if you wanted to use it for more than just a floor, like doing the stairs, I think that's to be avoided. And I took a long time before I could work out how it worked in upright mode just because of that worry about breaking it as it snaps open to allow you to drive it around.
