This shark does attack the dust . It has strong suction and really gets to work . The construction is of high quality and its design is so well thought through . We love the way the on board attachments work and that the unit separates so easily that one minute it is an upright and the next a hand held . It is a great purchase and now a well loved family member !

Very pleased with this vacuum cleaner, it was easy to assemble and very light to use. Picked up everything even thought the floors didn’t look like they were very dirty. Great product

I absolutely love this vacuum! I have never been this excited about hoovering before. We have a big hairy dog and have been using the Dyson Animal until now which was really hard work. The Shark is so powerful it literally left a stripe in the rug where it lifted the dog hair! Amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone with dogs. The Anti-hair wrap is brilliant, we have 2 of us with long hair and it's always been a problem having to cut the hair out of the roller, but this is magic. The lift-off part to do the stairs is great, it is really good to have a powerful vacuum to take up the stairs and it is really light to carry. It has a really smooth action, gets in all the corners and drops down to get under furniture, as long as it isn't too low. I cannot fault this item and would highly recommend it.

As many other reviews state the vacuum is great and we bought based on the hundreds of 5* reviews and would certainly agree with them. It’s fairly pricy but you do notice the difference in manufacturing and quality compared to our previous budget one. It also works great on hardwood floors which our last one was fairly rubbish at. (You just flick a switch on the handle to grange the floor type setting) The few cons are that the dust collection bin is very small and requires emptying often. This isn’t an issue but does give the illusion it’s collecting much more than your previous one. The anti hair wrap function is okay but has failed on us ( we do have 3 long-haird women plus a long haired German Shepard dog in the house so this function was really put to test). The cord exits at the bottom of the Vacuum but does have a clip to hold it near the handle to stop you running over it. However this often slips out. Only niggles though. Wouldn’t stop me buying it again.

Needed an upgrade on my old Vax, didn't feel like it had the same power and the sales were coming up. Heard a lot about Shark vacuums so thought I'd treat myself. Was stunned (and slightly horrified) at the amount of dirt it was picking up from my carpets, even days later must have been so embedded over the years. With the lift away can get under furniture with ease. Does feel a little heavy in the hand after a while I must admit, but this product is so good it doesn't bother me. And so worth paying that bit extra for the anti hair wrap tech. Used it so many times not one hair has stuck to the roller. Can't recommend this vacuum highly enough
