Absolutely love this vacuum cleaner, it’s really light and easy to move around has great parts to it I’ve already recommended to all my friends.

My long suffering wife had fallen out with the vacuum I'd purchased from AO 10 years ago, apparently it wasn't performing as well as she wished anymore, probably a combination of 4 children and 2 cats didn't help it, it was tired. Enter the Shark! (Apparently it's the one she's wanted for some time). After vacuuming the lounge floor to test it out, and having to empty it 4 times in the process, I can conclude the old vacuum was indeed useless. Remember folks, the wife is always right! It's got a good length of cord, somewhere around 8m, which you have to manually wrap around the vacuum when done. This is no bad thing, the 'self-retracting' ones always give up the ghost eventually, and you have to gingerly coax the cord into the vacuum by pushing it gingerly into the hole from where it came. It's got more parts that detach and reattach than I care to mention. Full upright, long pole, short pole, and full lift away of the cylinder is all possible. It takes a while to get used to the location of all the various release mechanisms, but works flawlessly. The selection of included accessories is adequate. The rotating brush attachment for the pole is worth a special mention, as it make light work of stairs (this might be included just on this SKU). Why not 5 stars? The weight. Fully assembled it is a little unwieldy, and arguably gives a fairly good workout to whoever is on the task. Where is really does shine though is the suction, it's quite simply staggering how much dirt it extracts. The 'anti-wrap' also works brilliantly, long cat hairs do not phase it at all. It's probably also worth mentioning it does this fairly quietly too.

I used my old big ball Dyson immediately before the Shark and couldn’t believe how much more dog hair and dirt the Shark collected! Excellent vacuum cleaner. Could do with a slightly longer lead, but the lift-away works really well.

My famous branD cordless vac broke so I got this Shark vacuum (with a cord as I’ve decided to manage without lithium)Love it, Love it, Love it. It’s the best thing ever, my home is much cleaner and I soon got used to the long cord. Its easy to use, a pleasure to see the dog hair whizz into the dust box. One teeny thing, the lower cord holder caught on a radiator cover, maybe it could be put round the back? Not really a problem just saying.

This is the first Shark product I’ve bought and it is really impressive. I had been looking to replace my older vacuum for a while and found myself relentlessly researching for my needs.Pet hair.The Shark has a few extras for switching between upright and using the hose section but also has a connection specifically for pet hair.The main head on this vacuum does the job without needing the extra pet connection!It is so powerful.I am so pleased to have purchased this model.

The suction is the best I have had on a vacuum and even though I am used to a lighter cordless shark model I do prefer this. I particularly think that because the suction is strong it makes it feel heavier than it is.
