Ninja Foodi Max 15 in 1
5/5
After breaking my slow cooker and my steamer giving up the ghost, I stumbled across the Ninja Foodi systems. At first look it did seem pretty expensive but with money off for Black Friday, we bit the bullet and ordered it.
It is initially quite daunting but after a good read through the recipe book and user manual, my first dish was a beef casserole using the pressure cooker function. 1kg of meat and veggies was done in 40 mins. The meat fell apart. A quick flick to sauté and a bit of added cornflour thickened the gravy beautifully.
I then cooked a whole chicken, using the probe and steam roast. My 4kg chicken was ready in 45 mins. Perfectly cooked through and crispy on top. Next we’re chips and onion rings using the air fryer function, followed by banana bread using steam bake. I’m so impressed by my 15 in 1 so far. Yes, it is a big, fairly heavy unit but it’s not something I envisage moving around a lot.
I’m looking forward to baking bread and dehydrating treats for the dog.
