    Hose too short

    4/5
The hose supplied is only 1.5m long and so stiff it can't easily be curved to reach the window. I had to stand the unit on a box to start with, then buy a longer hose.

Great to reduce temperature but noisy

    4/5
It’s really good at reducing the room temperature. It works quickly & efficiently & can be used with a proper vent through the wall or using the hose supplied draining water into a bucket. Its only downside is that it’s quite noisy. On full power it’s quite loud, on low power it’s reasonable but for me personally, it’s still too noisy to have on in the night I did check the reviews through Which? Magazine before I got it & it came out top overall. They also warned about the noise which is comparable to other brands

    Coooool Runnings!

    4/5
Great product. Various useful features. Cools an average-sized room down very quickly. Not very noisy. Movable. Great size for how well it works. Will blend into most rooms nicely and won't look out of place easily. Extension hose is too short to be useful unless you can raise it off the ground and keep the wheels stable to blow out the window. (Loses a star for that).

Just what I needed - well worth it

    5/5
Works perfectly - recommend by which. Easy to use and set up I refused to suffer with hot flushes and sleepless nights this year so treated myself. What a difference

    Quietest one I’ve tried

    4/5
I tried a few portable air conditioners before settling on this one, it’s easily the quietest I tried (note: still pretty loud but that seems par for the course). It would get 5 stars except that the remote control sometimes disconnects, but the buttons on the unit itself are easy to understand and use.

    Not quite perfect

    4/5
The first thing I noticed about this is it's weight. It's one thing being told the numerical weight but another thing entirely having to heft the thing about however the packaging makes it easier by once you cut the strapping, you lift the box from the AC, rather than the other way about. Being in Scotland I haven't actually had to use it much yet but with the limited use I have still had a few hours of usage under my belt and can talk a little about the positives and negatives. Positives being that it was able to cool one room (with the doors open to other rooms and exhaust not properly fitted out of the window) by 1c in less than an hour. I have tried both the fan and dehumidifier too and both seem to work well but it was mainly the AC function it was bought for. It has wheels so can be rolled about easily. It includes lots of fittings for the exhaust, drainage and a remote control. Negatives The weight is a big one, so even though it has wheels, you still have to bodily move it over thresholds etc. It doesn't come with a detachable water tank to empty when using the dehumidifier. For the AC it says it will use the water collected to cool the unit down but that you will need to empy the inside tank at some point if you live in a humid environment (which Scotland is) and they provide a hose to attach to the machine, however if you're using gravity to empty then you'll need to either take it somewhere it can drain at ground level, or use a relatively shallow tray, with the possibility of spillage. So you couldn't use it solely as a dehumidifier, which is unfortunate for me as I had hoped this unit would let me get rid of my other dehumidifier and be a multifunctional unit for me. The remote control is basically useless unless you're right next to the unit. The exhaust hose is quite hard plastic and built like a bendable straw but I had hoped that it would be softer, meaning I could compress it to fit it out of the window and lessen the risk of the hot air coming back in. ao provided the least expensive option for this which is why I chose them and they lived upto their side of the deal.

    Cools us down nicely!

    5/5
Cools our bedrooms down nicely! Not quiet enough to have on while we sleep but great for cooling down beforehand. Agree with others that the hose and power cord aren't particularly long but extensions can be bought for both.
